This paper examines the correlation between inflation and some macroeconomic factors in Vietnam from 2001 to 2022 toward sustainable economic development. There are few studies on connection environmental factors. study will use empirical analysis examine how variables, including money supply M2, growth rate, unemployment CO2 (the environment variable) relate inflation. The used VECM method identify components' short- long-term relationships. outcomes of causality test illustrate that short run, most variables negatively impact except GDP growth. results model, long show M2 rate have a positive inflation. In contrast, emissions detrimental effect response function also negative second year. Based research findings, authors make policy suggestions for Vietnamese government controlling adjusting balance emissions.

Introduction Urban green spaces play a crucial role in mitigating climate change by sequestering atmospheric carbon dioxide. This study aimed to evaluate the sequestration potential of common plant species urban residential areas and provide recommendations for optimizing space design management. Methods The research was conducted four Nanjing, China, where key growth parameters 20 species, including evergreen trees, deciduous shrubs, were measured. assimilation method employed calculate per unit canopy area entire plants. Results results showed that capacities different types exhibited significant differences, with p-values less than 0.05. In terms daily projection area, ranking as follows: trees > shrubs shrubs. For total sequestration, was: Evergreen performed excellently both metrics, average being 18.0024 g/(m 2 ·d) 462.28 g/d, respectively. also observed seasonal variations, rates higher autumn summer compared spring winter. During summer, 11.975 161.744 respectively, while autumn, these values 13.886 98.458 g/d. Seasonal variations observed, exhibiting Additionally, CO concentrations monitored across areas, providing insights into spatial temporal dynamics sequestration. Discussion Based on findings, optimization strategies proposed, such prioritizing selection integration high-performing tree incorporating diverse enhance year-round contributes development sustainable planning landscape management practices, promoting enhancing resilience.

Abstract Global challenges, such as the COVID‐19 impacts, climate crisis, and geopolitical tensions, have prompted economic transformations. These issues led to macroeconomic data assuming non‐normal distributions, necessitating a nonlinear analytical approach. As result, this study unveils influence of energy intensity, renewable energy, growth, financial development on carbon dioxide emissions in Iceland from 1995Q1 2020Q4 using Quantile‐on‐Quantile Kernel‐Based Regularized Least Squares (QQKRLS) Wavelets Quantile Correlation (WQC) methods. The QQKRLS results showed that growth are negatively associated with across various quantiles, while is positively linked emissions. Furthermore, WQC outcomes confirm QQKRLS. In addition, short medium term, affects long influences light gleaned study, should continue its path investments, create policies will completely decouple emissions, ensure system funding clean activities. This provides roadmap for sustainable environmental development.

Geopolitical tensions, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict, ongoing Middle-Eastern wars, and post-Cold War dynamics between USA Russia, have contributed to significant global political instability. These risks disrupt economic growth, destabilize energy supply chains, foster uncertainty, often prioritizing security over environmental sustainability. Existing literature inadequately addresses how geopolitical interact with sustainability, particularly within developed economies like Canada. To bridge this gap, study examines role of per capita income on outcomes under Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) framework, explicitly incorporating as a critical determinant. Using Canadian time series data spanning from 1980 2022, research employs autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) estimation technique explore short- long-term cointegrating relationships among key variables, consumption, trade openness, foreign direct investment (FDI), ICT development, financial development. The findings confirm inverted U-shaped EKC hypothesis for Canada, indicating that growth initially exacerbates carbon emissions (CO2) before leading improvements at higher levels. are found positively contribute CO2 emissions, emphasizing their barrier achieving validate robustness, Kernel Regularized Least Squares (KRLS) machine learning approach is employed, confirming consistency results. Additionally, Toda-Yamamoto causality test identifies directional causal variables. Policy recommendations emphasize need Canada implement targeted strategies mitigate impact outcomes. Specifically, advocates for: (1) diversifying sources reduce reliance geopolitically sensitive regions, (2) investing in renewable technologies ensure sustainable (3) enhancing policies prioritize low-carbon technologies.
