Assessing the impact of new-type urbanization (NTU) on green technological innovation reveals how effectively policy fosters sustainable growth and advancement. This helps policymakers optimize strategies to promote eco-friendly align national efforts with broader environmental goals. Using panel data from 274 cities in China 2009 2021, this study regards a NTU pilot as quasi-natural experiment uses multi-period difference-in-differences (DID) method examine innovation. Its heterogeneous effects are examined perspective economic development, industrial structure, resource endowment, foundation innovation. Based this, structure research development (R&D) expenditure considered moderating variables analyse mechanism. The findings revealed that (1) has significantly improved level innovation; (2) promotes by optimizing improving R&D expenditure; (3) non-resource-based higher levels, advanced structures, solid for innovation, significant effects.

In this study, we examine the effect and mechanism of public climate attention on corporate green innovation. We find that innovation strengthens with increasing degrees attention. Moreover, impact is more significant when enterprises face development pressure hold resource reserves. Further investigation reveals contributes to in samples state-owned (SOEs), non-high-tech companies, under frequent extreme disasters. Finally, based differences firm motivation for engaging innovation, also explore influence firms' substantive strategic innovations significantly both types Our research results are theoretical practical significance achieving dual-carbon goals promoting sustainable social high-quality economic development.

The scale expansion of low-carbon industries and the green transformation carbon-intensive are two sides same coin in achieving "dual carbon" goals. However, research on transition finance supporting upgrading traditional existing remains insufficient. key to examining effectiveness lies distinguishing whether supported enterprises engaging greenwashing or evolution. Based data Chinese A-share listed companies industry, an empirical study is conducted offers following findings: (1) Transition not only does increase but also promotes comprehensive innovation enterprises. (2) In terms influencing mechanism, exerts "resource effects" "signaling effects," promoting by improving debt maturity mismatch attracting institutional investors. (3) Further industry spillover effects analysis reveals that empowers within industries, attributed peer competitive effects.
