This research aims to develop a conceptual framework and propositions establish test the causal relationships between Industry 5.0 readiness (I5.0R), global value chain (GVC) participation, business competitiveness (BC), sustainable growth (SBG) of small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). study focuses on readiness, evaluated through human-centricity, fairtrade practices, lean management, sustainability competitiveness, measured by marketing, resources, production, finance. Both constructs were developed tested as higher-order constructs, while GVC participation assessed lower-order constructs. Data collected from marine food processing SMEs in Thailand using purposive sampling technique. confirmed content validity, construct reliability both lower models. Using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with bootstrapping (n = 1000), results indicated significant positive impacts SMEs. Additionally, was found mediate relationship growth. These findings contribute literature 5.0, GVCs, SME offering practical insights for policymakers aiming enhance strategic practices. The implications directions further are presented.

An efficient and effective spare parts supply chain management is crucial to ensure highly available production systems. However, achieving such a challenging due the intrinsic characteristics of parts. Traditional chains (TSPSCs) adopt large inventories tackle characteristics, with disadvantages in terms high inventory costs. Recently, Additive Manufacturing (AM) has shown breakthrough potential, allowing transition from TSPSCs digital (DSPSCs), where are no longer stored amounts but digitally produced only when needed. despite DSPSCs benefits, complete still far becoming reality. Indeed, hindering lack expertise three main areas, i.e. how design, operate, control monitor DSPSC. With this position paper, we envision twin (DT) could overcome these issues, enabling full Moreover, work further concretely suggests DT be developed, providing basis for developing both theoretical practical knowledge necessary render

Digital twins in Industry 4.0 enhance lean supply chains by optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring responsiveness to consumers. However, their relationship with remains understudied. We address this gap through a systematic literature review, analyzing 33 selected papers from 759 articles. Utilizing the supply-chain operations reference (SCOR) framework, we assess digital twins' impact on chain processes performances. Our findings indicate that are primarily used plan, make, delivery processes, limited exploration source return processes. They practices improving information flow, eliminating waste, logistics, enabling just-in-time production. top management commitment, supplier management, customer understudied areas. also recognize two additional areas where contribute: enhancing coordination, bolstering resilience, particularly against disruptions such as COVID-19 geopolitical events. Additionally, propose framework for twin-driven smart highlight importance of future research (SCDT) mapping, convergence, interaction, cognition service.
