The present study investigated whether parents’ and teachers’ evaluations of children’s intellectual investment would predict a change in need for cognition (NFC) over one year. An exploratory look at how are predicted by range factors was also taken. This paper attempts to estimate the relationships between teachers' and parents' expectancies students' achievement in mathematics literacy as measured by matriculation exam scores final marks 12th-grade.
