Abstract Researchers have significantly explored language learners' attitudes toward ChatGPT through the lens of technology acceptance models, particularly with its development and integration into computer-assisted learning (CALL). However, further research in this area is necessary to apply a theoretical framework pedagogical-oriented perspective. Therefore, study, researchers utilized students' approaches environment (SAL) extended it by incorporating multilevel perspective that encompasses contextual, individual, ChatGPT-related factors. Accordingly, integrated their syllabus guided learners three universities Ardabil City use during academic year 2023–2024. In end, 214 participants answered study questionnaire. The result partial least squares modeling (PLS-SEM), Importance performance map analysis (IPMA) showed leadership, where university executive provides atmosphere for norms integration, could shape learners’ organizing approach using daily schedule. Additionally, personalization anthropomorphism were among significant factors shaped deep as source meaningful, cross-referenced CALL tool. low feedback reliability, privacy concerns, ChatGPT's perceived value contributed surface minimizing ChaGPT-related factor. On basis these findings, introduces new conceptual artificial intelligence (AILL) suggests leadership should be promoted at macro-contextual level might cover other micro-contextual, personal, factors, including price-value, personalization, motivation, which are important elements CHAGPTALL.

Humans may have evolved to be "hyperactive agency detectors". Upon hearing a rustle in pile of leaves, it would safer assume that an agent, like lion, hides beneath (even if there ultimately nothing there). Can this evolutionary cognitive mechanism—and related mechanisms anthropomorphism—explain some people's contemporary experience with using chatbots (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini)? In paper, we sketch how such engender the seemingly irresistible anthropomorphism large language-based chatbots. We then explore implications within educational context. Specifically, argue tendency perceive "mind machine" is double-edged sword for progress: Though can facilitate motivation and learning, also lead students trust—and potentially over-trust—content generated by To sure, do seem recognize LLM-generated content may, at times, inaccurate. argue, however, rise towards will only serve further camouflage these inaccuracies. close considering research turn aiding becoming digitally literate—avoiding pitfalls caused perceiving humanlike mental states

In the digital age, intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and higher education (HE) poses novel ethical considerations, necessitating a comprehensive exploration this multifaceted relationship. This study aims to quantify characterize current research trends critically assess discourse on AI applications within HE. Employing mixed-methods design, we integrated quantitative data from Web Science, Scopus, Lens databases with qualitative insights selected studies perform scientometric content analyses, yielding nuanced landscape utilization in Our results identified vital areas through citation bursts, keyword co-occurrence, thematic clusters. We provided conceptual model for integration HE, encapsulating dichotomous perspectives AI’s role education. Three clusters were identified: frameworks policy development, academic integrity creation, student interaction AI. The concludes that, while offers substantial benefits educational advancement, it also brings challenges that necessitate vigilant governance uphold standards. implications extend policymakers, educators, developers, highlighting need guidelines, literacy, human-centered tools.

This study examines the influence of ChatGPT on tourist behaviour using complexity theory. Factors such as media richness, anthropomorphism, trust in ChatGPT, and online travel agencies are investigated to understand their effects purchasing intentions word-of-mouth, along with a moderator sustainable-tourism action (practice). Results revealed relationships among variables, highlighting crucial role shaping consumer behaviour. A comparison between high low levels practice groups provides further insights. The discusses implications for industry, emphasising importance leveraging enhance sustainable actions.

This narrative review synthesizes and analyzes empirical studies on the adoption acceptance of ChatGPT in higher education, addressing need to understand key factors influencing its use by students educators. Anchored theoretical frameworks such as Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Unified Theory Use (UTAUT), Diffusion Innovation (DoI) Theory, Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) model, Planned Behavior, this highlights central constructs shaping behavior. The confirmed include hedonic motivation, usability, perceived benefits, system responsiveness, relative advantage, whereas effects social influence, facilitating conditions, privacy, security vary. Conversely, technology readiness extrinsic motivation remain unconfirmed consistent predictors. study employs a qualitative synthesis 40 peer-reviewed studies, applying thematic analysis uncover patterns driving adoption. findings reveal that, while traditional models offer valuable insights, deeper exploration contextual psychological is necessary. study’s implications inform future research directions institutional strategies for integrating AI support educational innovation.
