ABSTRACT Micronutrient deficiencies, such as manganese (Mn), pose significant global health risks, affecting millions of people worldwide and leading to serious conditions. Biofortifying crops, notably common beans, offer a sustainable solution combat these deficiencies. This study aimed uncover the genetic basis associated with Mn content in Turkish bean ( Phaseolus vulgaris ) germplasm through genome‐wide association (GWAS), which is crucial for developing nutrient‐rich varieties. Here, we examined variation among 183 accessions, collected from 19 provinces Turkey identified linked seed content. Genotype by environment interaction significantly influenced p < 0.05). The mean was observed 31.69 mg kg −1 across germplasm. Bingol‐16 had lowest, while Malatya‐59 highest contents. Stability analysis performed using ‘STABILITYSOFT’ method found 10 stable accessions. cluster constellation plot generated JMP statistical software. A total 7900 DArTseq markers were used analysis, identifying 16 four chromosomes (Pv2, Pv5, Pv7 Pv11). Notably, DArT‐3374915 DArT‐3375187 exhibited consistent associations different environments, making them promising candidates Mn‐focused breeding programmes. Gene annotation interactome including BLAST searches protein–protein revealed candidate genes concentration regulation, shedding light on potential mechanisms underlying accumulation beans. Our findings lay foundation marker‐assisted efforts improvement.
