Abstract Green human resource management (GHRM) is an important organisational approach to promote the sustainable development of organisations. Although literature regarding effect GHRM growing, little known about mechanisms and boundary conditions that may facilitate link between green outcomes. Through a combined underpinning ability–motivation–opportunity, job demands–resources social exchange theories, this study examines relationship creativity through work engagement, with spiritual leadership moderating GHRM–green engagement relationship. Also, we explore links GHRM, leadership, using moderated mediation model. Using survey data 271 front‐line hotel employees in UAE, use partial least squares structural equation modelling conduct our statistical analysis. The results show positively influences creativity, while mediates nexus. In addition, amplifies nexus mediating context hospitality sector UAE. Our offers industry‐specific practical implications suggests agendas for further research.

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are crucial for any economy to grow succeed, as evidenced in the Pakistani context, where SMEs contribute 30% of country’s GDP. The objective this study is link green servant leadership (GSL) pro-environmental behaviour (PEB) employees, particularly SMEs, which very few studies have investigated. Empirical research that offers nuanced insights into the antecedents of green creativity in hospitality industry is scant. Therefore, this focuses on employee-level creativity, which have received limited attention. Based Social exchange theory and information processing theory, study proposes a conceptual model includes inclusive leadership, organizational citizenship behavior towards environment, climate for initiative, creativity. Environmental issues are gradually increasing due to increases in carbon emissions, overproduction, plastic use, the burning of fossil fuels, etc. Therefore, ecological sustainability is a primary concern for society and upcoming generation. Considering this, present research objective examine factors influencing employee eco-friendly behavior (EEBH) firm environmental performance (FEP). Cross-sectional data were accumulated from 403 employees working casual dining restaurants China analyzed through partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS–SEM) approaches (i.e., PLS algorithm, bootstrapping, blindfolding, prediction). The findings support significant effect (ENVC) on organizational commitment (EOC), job satisfaction (EJoS), EEBH. In addition, EOC EJoS directly indirectly influence Furthermore, also mediates link between ENVC EJoS. Finally, show that EEBH stimulates performance.
