Universities support students in their transition to work and future career through programmes such as work-integrated learning (WIL). WIL engages authentic industry-based experiences is considered valuable for preparedness work, including professional socialisation developing skills prioritised by graduate employers. Research shows, however, that access participation not equal among all student groups. This paper reports on the responses of over 151,000 recent graduates an Australian-wide survey. It investigates different types its influence self-perceptions employability employment outcomes from backgrounds. Findings show how diverse forms uniform, urging universities carefully consider barriers challenges cohorts. Those do largely experience significant positive outcomes, highlighting WIL's instrumental role preparing work. The highlights need tailored approaches enable optimise best prepare them pathways.

(1) Background: Environmental issues are among society's most pressing concerns as they can significantly impact the environment and human health. The Eco Generativity Scale (EGS), a 28-item four-factor scale has been introduced to promote constructive outlook on matter. It encompasses two types of generativity, namely ecological social well environmental identity agency/pathways. aim current study was examine EGS's psychometric properties 375 Italian university students. (2) Methods: To evaluate scale's factor structure, both exploratory confirmatory analyses were conducted. Internal consistency evaluated via Cronbach's alphas McDonald's omega. Concurrent validity analyzed with Positive Negative Affect (PANAS), Satisfaction life (SWLS), Meaningful Life Measure (MLM), Flourishing (FS). (3) Results: analysis showed best fit for solution. Confirmatory revealed that higher-order model provided data good internal consistency. Furthermore, each total score concurrent PANAS, SWLS, MLM, FS. (4) Conclusions: Eco-Generativity (EGS) its use in research intervention promising tool measure eco-generativity.

In recent years, there has been an increased implementation of massive open online courses (MOOCs). This teaching model plays a pivotal role in education because it can provide high-quality learning resources to numerous students with great feasibility, shaping training according their different requirements. Although the widespread adoption MOOCs medical led benefits for undergraduate and graduate doctors, remains unclear, suggesting need analyze key factors such method this field. To achieve aim, scoping review, line PRISMA qualitative synthesis, was performed by considering studies published from 2016 2021, written English, including physician population. Through literature analysis, following main areas interest came light: (1) pedagogical approaches, (2) MOOC structure-related variables, (3) participant-related (4) vs. traditional courses. The review provides valuable evidence on underlying effectiveness, which might be helpful academic healthcare organizations designing effective physicians.

Purpose This study aims to understand how employability capitals’ dynamics foster self-perceived (SPE) among students and graduates, which is still being empirically explored. Building upon the Employability Capital Growth Model Social Cognitive Career Theory’s career self-management model, we aimed different capitals associate by testing a serial mediation model connecting identity (reflecting capital) SPE through of cultural capital job interview self-efficacy (ISE) (an element psychological capital). Design/methodology/approach We adopted two-wave design involving 227 Italian University graduates. recruited participants multi-channel communication. The hypothesised relationships were analysed employing structural equation modelling approach with SPSS AMOS statistical package. Findings results indicated that identity, capital, ISE are meaningfully related. In particular, in line our expectations, observed predicts positively associated which, ultimately, impacts SPE. Originality/value Our work adds existing research advancing understanding capitals, explaining they interact influence SPE, crucial for sustainable transition into workforce.
