To address the challenges of global warming and greenhouse effect, extensive research has been dedicated to microgrids (MGs) powered by renewable energy sources (RESs). This paper presents an innovative control mechanism, synergetic simplified super-twisting algorithm (SSSTA), designed specifically for a DC-MG incorporating battery storage system (BESS), solar photovoltaic (PV) unit, DC loads. The PV connects shared bus via unidirectional DC–DC boost converter, optimized maximum power point tracking from generator. At same time, BESS is linked using bidirectional buck-boost converter bus, aimed at maintaining supply–demand balance within through charging discharging. SSSTA regulate each unit in MG. It ensures desired voltage level common while tailoring allocation meet load requirements. study shows that improves performance stability systems batteries. By implementing SSSTA, MG sustained even under varying conditions, thereby minimizing impact disturbances such as fluctuations demand irradiation. As result, this strategy enhances reliability efficiency MGs integrated with RESs, promoting broader adoption. Furthermore, offer clearer understanding proposed approach, results proportional-integral are also presented. Simulation experiments MATLAB confirm effectiveness mechanism.
