Mortality causes and health spending by gender and health conditions in octogenarians, nonagenarians and centenarians in Colombia

This
document
determines
the
causes
of
mortality
(2008–2022)
and
calculate
per
capita
health
expenditure
(2013–2021)
in
octogenarians,
nonagenarians
centenarians
Colombian
population,
considering
year,
gender
age
group.

this
nationwide
retrospective
descriptive
observational
study,
epidemiological
regions,
urban/rural
areas
morbidities
were

studied.

explore
stakeholders'
perceptions
of
adults'

well-being
needs

service
provision

Abstract
Anxiety
disorders
are
the
most
prevalent
psychological
conditions
among
adults
worldwide.
However,
further
research
is
needed
on
role
of
variables
such
as
health
indices,
stressful
events,
social
cognition,

executive

anxiety
symptoms.

studies

Background:
Escalating
street
violence
and
criminal
homicides
have
an
adverse
impact
on
psychological
well-being.

Elder
abuse
is
a
global
public
health
problem
with
severe
social
costs.
Research
on
elder
has
gradually
increased;
however,
less
attention

paid

older
adults’
perceptions

experiences

abuse.
