The interplay between accessibility and population change is a relatively new subject in Italian academic research. Along with social economic factors such as regional prosperity, the ease of movement inside outside an area can play pivotal role shaping dynamics. This study seeks to explore spatial distribution relationships three indicators, including one related real (RAI) two others related, respectively, shares older (SOP) foreign (SFP). An exploratory data analysis is, therefore, conducted at local level using municipalities statistical units for empirical analysis. Local univariate autocorrelation used together regression based on ordinary least squares (OLS) geographically weighted (GWR) models. results provide valuable insights into heterogeneity that characterizes each indicator relationship them, highlighting importance thinking locally quantitative sciences.
