This research examined the efficacy of substituting commercial fish meal (CFM) with Pterygoplichthys pardalis (PPM) in Hoplobatrachus chinensis diets, and without Euphorbia hirta extract (EHE) supplementation. The study utilized six dietary treatments: a control diet (0% PPM, no EHE) five experimental diets varying PPM levels (0%+, 25%+, 50%+, 75%+, 100%+), each fortified 300 mg/kg EHE. experiment spanned 90 days. analysis revealed that exhibited superior amino acid profiles compared to CFM, both quality quantity, while CFM demonstrated higher fatty content. growth metrics showed significant decline only group receiving 100% replacement EHE Most organosomatic indices remained consistent across treatments, exception intraperitoneal fat, which decreased all EHE-supplemented groups. Blood parameters, including white blood cells, red hematocrit, along serum proteins (total protein, globulin, albumin), displayed an upward trend 50%+ 75%+ groups significantly elevated glucose (p < 0.05). Liver enzymes (alanine transaminase aspartate transaminase) variations among treatments. results indicate can serve as effective for up 75% H. feed, compromising their performance. Moreover, supplementing helps enhance essential biochemical body, adversely affecting liver function. investigation offers valuable perspectives on development sustainable aquaculture feed potential application invasive species aquatic animal nutrition.
