Introduction The genus Cedrela is one of the phytochemically rich genera family Meliaceae. In this study, two species, namely, odorata and Toona ciliata M. Roem (formerly toona ), were selected for in-depth phytochemical profiling with aid UPLC-ESI/MS n analysis followed by evaluation their anti-diabetic potential through assessment in vitro α -amylase -glucosidase inhibitory effects, alongside molecular docking studies on these target enzymes. Materials methods technique was applied to tentatively identify extracts. properties assessed using BioVision inhibitor screening kits. Further, utilized PyRx® Discovery Studio software. Results discussion led identification quantification 55 metabolites fragmentation patterns first time species. Flavonoids represented main identified class, phenylpropanoids, terpenes, tannins, others. species showed potent enzyme inhibition, where C. significantly inhibited (IC 50 = 4.83 ± 0.01 3.50 0.03 μg/mL) compared pioglitazone 2.17 0.23 μg/mL), while -glycosidase also 7.17 6.50 0.69 respectively, acarbose 1.02 μg/mL). activities further confirmed silico components respective binding sockets both Conclusion These promising results could pave way a novel discovery natural phytoconstituents activity.
