ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) systems capable of generating creative outputs are reshaping our understanding creativity. This shift presents an opportunity for creativity researchers to reevaluate the key components process. In particular, advanced capabilities AI underscore importance studying internal processes paper explores neurobiological machinery that underlies these and describes experiential component It is concluded although products artificial human can be similar, different. This paper discusses "The computability of creativity" in the light alternative definitions creativity. An applied approach favours terms externally assessed properties ideas, typically, their novelty and value, with no process requirements. A pure science emphasises internally idea properties, coupled requirements, particularly for intentionality agency. On "process" view, creativity requires agency, which computer programs (computable processes) do not possess. It is proposed then that answer to question "No" on approach—as this necessarily involves outside formal, abstract computational realm. approach, defined it some computed responses are creative (e.g. GPT system answers Alternative Uses tasks).

Background/Objectives: Motor creativity and physical activity are essential to early childhood development, impacting physical, cognitive, socio-emotional development. This study investigates the relationships among motor creativity, working memory (MSTM), screen time, (PA) in kindergarten children, focusing on mediating roles of cognitive functions time. Methods: Data were collected from 124 Arab Israeli children through assessments Thinking Creatively Action Movement (TCAM) for Hand Test MSTM. Parents reported children’s time days engaged moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA). Results: The results show significant positive associations between both MSTM PA, underscoring role processes creative expression. Linear regression mediation analyses showed that significantly mediates relationship PA creativity. Conversely, negatively correlates with serving as a mediator restricts opportunities activities. Conclusions: emphasizes bidirectional wherein diverse activities stimulate movements encourage active participation. combined effects highlight complexity these relationships, suggesting need integrated interventions. findings inform education by advocating strategies promote activity, enhance functions, limit excessive fostering holistic development young children.

Abstract The default mode network (DMN) is a widely distributed, intrinsic brain thought to play crucial role in internally directed cognition. present study employs stereo-EEG 13 human patients, obtaining high resolution neural recordings across multiple canonical DMN regions during two processes that have been associated with creative thinking: spontaneous and divergent thought. We probe these DMN-associated higher cognitive functions through mind wandering alternate uses tasks, respectively. Our results reveal recruitment both as well task-specific dissociation spatiotemporal response dynamics. The development of generative AI has led to novel ways that technology can be integrated into creative activities. However, this also raised concerns about how human creators will affected, and what impact it may have on industries. As a result, there been research we design tools work with creators, rather than replacing them. In paper review approaches utilized build facilitate creativity allow users engage fully authentically in the process.
