A binuclear copper (II) complex [Cu 2 (dien) (ox)(ClO 4 )] (dien = diethylenetriamine and ox oxalate) was readily synthesized obtained in the perchlorate salt form. The structure of compound has been determined using X‐ray crystallography, UV–Vis spectroscopy, infrared techniques. This new catalyst effectively facilitated production 1,2,3‐triazole derivatives by “Click reaction” an aqueous environment propargylamine “A 3 ‐coupling under solvent‐free conditions, resulting yields ranging from good to excellent. Additionally, subsequent investigations have revealed that this catalytic system can be recovered reused for up five cycles both cycloaddition coupling reactions.
