Abstract
To
investigate
extracellular
vesicles
(EVs),
biomarkers
for
predicting
lymph
node
invasion
(LNI)
in
patients
with
high-risk
prostate
cancer
(HRPCa),
plasma,
and/or
urine
samples
were
prospectively
collected
from
45
(PCa)
and
five
benign
prostatic
hyperplasia
(BPH).
Small
RNA
sequencing
was
performed
to
identify
miRNAs
the
EVs.
All
PCa
underwent
radical
prostatectomy
extended
pelvic
dissection.
Differentially
expressed
identified
without
pathologically-verified
LNI.
The
candidate
validated
low-risk
(LRPCa)
BPH.
Four
miRNA
species
(e.g.,
miR-126-3p)
three
miR-27a-3p)
more
abundant
urinary
plasma
EVs,
respectively,
of
PCa.
None
these
shared
between
miR-126-3p
significantly

mass
spectroscopy

revealing
heterogeneity
in
metabolic
composition.

key
metabolites
