Abstract Grounded on the psychology of language and corpus discourse analysis, this article explores linguistic patterns in Amy Winehouse’s original compositions (2003–2011) her tendency to commit self-harm. Voyant Tools (Sinclair & Rockwell 2016), a web-based application, was utilised generate keywords context, collocates graph, visualise word trends across corpus; sentiment analysis also conducted determine if emotional tone message (text) is positive, neutral, or negative sentiment. The findings showed an upward trend frequencies contexts; lexicogrammatical phrases conveyed self-deprecating attitude ( I’m nothing, no good ) self-destructive intentions dying, hurt, losing) , impact male figures life associating man with war fighting . Changes syntax structures revealed contextual clues low self-esteem, emotions, loneliness. Normalizing mental health disorders in media communication can have a positive impact on the public by improving awareness. However, normalizing issues like anxiety could lead people to categorize normal as disorder. In Study One, viewing social posts that normalized resulted greater likelihood of self-diagnosis disorder compared did not normalize it. This effect was through identification with and liking person featured post. Two, those results were replicated. Additionally, we expected, but find, had an perceived stigma disorders. Thus, at least this case, normalization influenced primarily increasing another anxiety, rather than decreasing stigma. Efforts maximize impacts should examine unintended, potentially negative, consequences.

Background The stigma attached to mental illness impedes diagnosis, treatment, and access care for people with illness. The new reality of cybersuicide raises challenges to ideologies about the traditional form suicide that does not involve internet (offline suicide), which may lead changes in audience's attitudes. However, knowledge on whether stigmatizing attitudes differ between cybersuicides and offline suicides remains limited.This study aims consider livestreamed as a typical representative use social media data (Sina Weibo) investigate differences across terms attitude types linguistic characteristics.A total 4393 cybersuicide-related 2843 suicide-related Weibo posts were collected analyzed. Purpose This study aims to present a novel framework of “communication-led behavioral intention” in an effort aid the process planning and coordinating social marketing campaigns on difficult subjects that go against conventions, including proper postnatal nutrition practices. Design/methodology/approach The followed quasi-experimental research design. Health communications (public service announcements) were shown women aged 18–65 years responses collected using quantitative questionnaire.
