The environmentally responsible behavior of urban forest visitors is a key determinant for the conservation forests. Though numerous studies acknowledge the critical role played by green spaces (GS) in bolstering sustainability various dimensions, a majority of these investigations primarily center on ecological aspect and urban environments. Due to multifaceted benefits GSs, different categories expectations can be identified across disciplines. Hence, no single method exists for evaluating success GSs promoting due variety expectations. This study provides framework public (PGS) holistically based discourse, specifically including rural transitional rural-urban areas, with focus GS's recreational values. Employing systematic review 130 publications sourced from Web Science, Scopus, Google Scholar ensuing content analysis, we elaborated 14 distinct qualities, accessibility, connectedness, responsiveness, activity, social interactions, facilities, safety security, spaciousness, biodiversity, perceptual value, aesthetic symbolic value. Jakarta holds the distinction of being largest capital city among ASEAN countries and ranks as second-largest metropolitan area in world, following Tokyo. Despite numerous studies examining diverse urban land use cover patterns within city, recent state green spaces has not been adequately assessed mapped precisely. Most previous have primarily focused on built-up areas manmade structures. In this research, first-ever detailed map Jakarta’s 2023 was generated, with a resolution three meters. This study employed combination supervised classification evaluated two machine learning algorithms to achieve highest accuracy possible. To this, various satellite images were utilized, including VV VH polarizations from Sentinel-1, multiple bands Sentinel-2, eight Planet. The Planet data subsequently transformed into Red-Edge Triangulated Vegetation Index Wetness Index. training testing samples for obtained using Street View available Google Maps. results revealed that Random Forest classifier algorithm only achieved an rate 84.9%, while impressive 95.9% rate. approximately 33.2% spaces. provides unprecedented insights type, size, spatial distribution spaces, enabling residents stakeholders explore promote healthier living better manage these areas. Public green spaces (PGSs) play a positive role in urban social sustainability and solidarity, as all dwellers can access them without discrimination or restrictions, but urbanization usually leads to an extreme shortage of PGSs thus it becomes important spatial resource that is competed for by different groups, especially migrant populations. Taking the Macau Peninsula example, this study employed hybrid analysis approach, including Gini coefficient, share index quality assessment, look at PGS injustice high-density post-colonial areas. The results showed (1) there “spatial mismatch” Peninsula’s PGS; (2) significant service differences have been found between colonial group (Portuguese) immigrant (Southeast Asian); (3) comparative changes equity over past 40 years reveals tends be equitable overall, groups gradually increased. mainly depends on production mechanism during period selection limitation due differential integration. Introduction A nature-connected environment is important for constructing building infrastructures in a sustainable city. However, its realistic application rarely utilized urban planning, primarily due to lack of accurate regression emotional perceptions nature connectedness against existing landscape metrics. Method In this study, Changsha was selected as the study area, targeting 50 parks plots, with 165 left unselected prediction. Twenty pedestrians were randomly approached assess their connectedness. Self-reported data used evaluate positive and negative emotion scores (Cronbach α: 0.803) nonparametric relation index (ENRI) (Pearson correlation retest: R square = 66.37%). Results Three machine-learning algorithms (random forest, AdaBoost, gradient boosting trees [GBT]) compared, GBT being ( square: 76.49 ‒ 88.64 %) further comparison multivariate linear (MLR). Principal component analysis verification, algorithm surpassed MLR performance. The green view (GVI) large open spaces found correlate emotions (parameter estimate [PE]: 0.02 0.13).
