Microbial diseases are a global health threat, leading to tremendous casualties and economic losses. As the typical PDT, antibiotics or antiviral drugs directly attack bacteria viruses through discerning specific molecules. However, drug abuse could result in antimicrobial resistance increase infectious disease morbidity. Recently, exosome therapy, as HDT, has attracted extensive attentions for its potential limiting complications targeted delivery. Mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (MSC-Exos) most broadly investigated. In this review, we mainly focus on development recent advances of application MSC-Exos diseases. review starts with difficulties current strategies treatments, followed by comprehensive overview aspect isolation, identification, contents, applications.
