Abstract In this paper, the bond‐slip behavior and constitutive model of corroded reinforcement embedded in polypropylene fiber‐reinforced concrete (PFRC) were investigated. The central pullout test was conducted for 36 specimens. effects corrosion level volume fraction (PP) fibers on damage mode process between studied. Based experimental data, a modified considering PP proposed, proposed used finite element analysis. results showed that addition effectively improved ultimate bond strength, peak slip toughness concrete. enhancement bonding properties specimens by remained significant after corroded. agreed well with results. validity further verified
