Abstract Flourishing‐for‐all as emerged a concept to respond the apparent lack of capacity translate sustainability discourse into actual practices conducive more sustainable societies. In this special issue, we assert that flourishing‐for‐all addresses gap identified in still needs conversion practice, and processes for catalyzing necessary transformation need be implemented. The eight papers issue address from different ontological, epistemological, methodological perspectives, demonstrating wide interest topic, shared belief both academia practice must go beyond embrace flourishing‐for‐all. They bring fore three important features approach: First, it allows profound analysis systemic sustainability‐related problems; secondly, highlights new relationships among problem‐related variables; thirdly, extends repertory reach possible solutions.

For over ten years the World Happiness Report has influentially ranked nations on self-reported life evaluation as measured by Gallup Poll. Abstract This network meta-analysis (NMA) synthesises 183 randomised controlled trials (RCTs) with 22,811 participants, providing a novel, comprehensive comparison of wellbeing interventions. Findings indicate that interventions integrating psychological techniques physical activity, including ‘movement combined intervention’ and yoga, rank highest. Mindfulness, compassion-focused therapies, ACT also demonstrated strong effects, highlighting shared characteristics presence, acceptance, self-compassion as beneficial. Physical activity performed comparably to single positive psychology interventions, underscoring multiple pathways wellbeing. All were significantly more effective than no treatment control groups, except for nature-based which did not outperform controls. However, characterised by small samples moderate-to-high risk bias. Multiple sub-group sensitivity analyses confirmed the robustness these conclusions. Given the abundance of research on well-being and flourishing, this study aimed to outline direct indirect effects personality predictors flourishing. The cross-sectional included ten scales, measuring traits (the extraversion, neuroticism, openness experience, consciousness, agreeableness meta-traits plasticity stability) personal dispositions (self-esteem, mindfulness, coping potential, learned helplessness, self-handicapping, planning, rumination) a convenient sample 451 respondents. A ten-session training designed promote flourishing was conducted with 10 participants over three-month period. Results revealed stronger effect than traits, as well moderating mediating dispositions. Flourishing is predicted by high self-esteem, proactive coping, agreeableness, meaning in life. Although the importance of balance has been recognized in various specific domains, from work-life to a balanced diet, there curiously little attention life overall (i.e., across all aspects living). To gain better such factors, we analysed cross-sectional wave 1 data on Global Flourishing Study.
