This study evaluates the impact of dietary supplementation with hemp-based polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) on membrane lipid profiles and reproductive performance Martina Franca jacks. Over a 90-day period, twelve donkeys were divided into treatment group receiving hemp oil control standard diet. Semen blood samples collected analyzed at multiple time points for composition parameters. Results revealed that sperm motility improved significantly, increasing from 92.61% in to 96.63% by Day 60 (p = 0.05). Normal morphology also showed significant enhancement, rising 96.58% 98.85% 0.04). Conversely, gel-free semen volume decreased significantly group, 64.17 mL 28.20 < 0.0001). Lipidomic analyses indicated an increased proportion omega-3 PUFAs, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA; 0.08% 0.20% 60, p 0.0001), membranes, alongside reduction peroxidation index (264.11 86.53 These changes suggest fluidity oxidative stability. findings underscore potential supplement enhance outcomes donkeys, broader implications livestock management.
