This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a theory planned behavior (TPB)-based education program using Facebook promote Alabama grown fruits vegetables consumption among college students. The participants' knowledge about intentions purchase locally before after educational implementation period were compared. results showed significant improvement in both intentions, confirming TPB-based nutrition utilizing social media. Particularly, focused on local food would not only help improve students' long-term eating habits but also reduce environmental impacts by encouraging sourced foods.
