This study offers new insights into college students' health education (CSHE) regarding its research status, hot spots, and trends by conducting a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of this field in the past decade (2014 to 2024). Specifically, we analyzed publication used method with CiteSpace software explore collaborative networks, detailed co-citation co-occurrence dynamics based on 1358 Web Science Core Collection articles. Our results indicate increased relevant publications collaboration networks show complex institutional regional partnerships. At same time, analyses highlight interdisciplinary themes that encompass public health. The particularly underscores emerging importance mental health, global innovative educational approaches. These findings reveal CSHE provide crucial for future studies, stressing need creative strategies tackle student challenges. Moreover, practice, contributes promoting practicing targeted intervention policies countermeasures aimed at enhancing well-being, such as establishing dedicated courses, providing specialized training teachers, regular assessments, funding CSHE.

The effectiveness of coercive measures in motivating vaccination: Evidence from China during the COVID-19 pandemic DOI Creative Commons

Governments worldwide have implemented mandates, restrictions, and other coercive measures to secure adequate vaccine coverage, with the COVID-19 pandemic providing numerous examples. While ethics public reception of such are matters heated discussion, their effectiveness in motivating individuals get vaccinated remains incompletely understood. This study addresses that gap by analyzing data from a 2022 nationwide online survey conducted China. Respondents recruited through proportional quota sampling reflect key demographic characteristics population were asked specify vaccination status reason behind decision. Results reveal while most respondents reported getting voluntarily, 14.6% attributed government's mobilisation efforts. Moreover, members ruling Chinese Communist Party, as well favouring Western vaccines unavailable China, more likely cite for vaccination. These findings suggest can motivate substantial proportion vaccinated, especially those closely connected political system unmet preferences. Given controversy surrounding measures, this enhanced understanding could help formulating targeted policies combat infectious diseases safeguard health.

Background This study investigates the impact of New York's relaxed alcohol consumption policies during coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on alcohol-related traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) among patients admitted to a Level 1 trauma center in Queens. Given limited research available, this critically explores link between public health and care. It aims address significant gap literature highlight implications regulations global emergencies. Methodology A retrospective analysis was conducted from 2019 2021. The period divided into following three periods: pre-lockdown (March 7, 2019, July 31, 2019), lockdown 2020, 2020), post-lockdown 2021, 2021). This study employs an interdisciplinary and comprehensive research approach, integrating questionnaire surveys, statistical analysis, qualitative interviews to delve into the relationship between media use social trust in China.
