Aims The incidence of limb fractures in patients living with HIV (PLWH) is increasing. However, due to their immunodeficiency status, the operation and rehabilitation these present unique challenges. Currently, it urgent establish a standardized perioperative plan based on concept enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This study aimed validate effectiveness ERAS period PLWH fractures. Methods A total 120 fractures, between January 2015 December 2023, were included this study. We established multidisciplinary team design implement protocol. demographic, surgical, clinical, follow-up information collected analyzed retrospectively. Results Compared control group, group had shorter operating time, hospital stay, preoperative waiting postoperative discharge less intraoperative blood loss, higher albumin haemoglobin first day. time removal urinary catheter/drainage tube was shortened, drainage volume also significantly reduced group. There no significant difference visual analogue scale (VAS) scores return ward, but lower first, second, third days. differences complications, other than 10% more nausea vomiting function at one-year similar two groups, radiological fracture union physical work sports Conclusion implementation series nursing measures can reduce occurrence pain accelerate improvement functional status affected early stage, which worthy applying medical institutions. Abstract Despite advances in medicine and antimicrobial research, viral infections continue to pose a major threat human health. While strides have been made generating vaccines small molecules combat emerging pathogens, new modalities of treatment are warranted diseases where there is lack options, or cannot fully eradicate as HIV infection. Cellular therapies, some which FDA approved for treating cancer, take advantage our developing understanding the immune system, harness this knowledge enhance, direct, responses toward infectious agents. As with viruses that evade immunity, do so by avoiding recognition redirecting cellular would them. such, infusing virus specific cells has potential improve patient outcomes should be investigated tool arsenal fight The present manuscript summarizes key findings using therapies infections, focusing on these strategies might controlling disease.

ABSTRACT With the widespread promotion and application of antiretroviral therapy in clinical practice, people living with HIV (PLWH) have potential to live as long non‐HIV probability surgery for PLWH has been increasing dramatically. However, overall postoperative outcome risk are still unclear. We performed comprehensive methodical searches PubMed, Embase, Web Science without date language restrictions. Study outcomes included: (1) cure rate, (2) mortality, (3) reoperation (4) incidence any complications, (5) length stay, (6) operation duration. NOS scores were employed evaluate bias risk, while publication was assessed using funnel plots Egger tests. Review Manager version 5.4.1, R 4.4.1, Stata 14.0 determine quantitative analysis, considering a significance level p < 0.05. A total 50 studies included, involving 54 565 undergoing surgical treatment. Synthesis analysis showed that mortality (OR = 1.70, 95% CI: 1.58−1.83, 0.00001), rate 1.78, 1.36−2.34, complication 1.56, 1.26−1.95, LOS 1.63, 1.28−1.99, time 7.37, 1.14−13.59, 0.02) increased PLWH. there no significant difference compared control group 1.27, 0.90−1.79, 0.18). Subgroup rates again orthopedic 1.65, 1.34−2.05, 0.00001) general 1.72, 1.08−2.74, 0.02). type procedure, quality, study type, patient origin not sources heterogeneity. Meta‐regression CD4 count had effect on but anti‐retroviral 34.89% explanatory power. There is an death, reoperation, prolonged hospital stay duration conducting extensive prospective across multiple centers crucial validate these findings.

The aim of this study was to evaluate TREC and KREC levels in HIV-infected individuals. Materials methods. material whole blood samples obtained from individuals with less than one year infection (n=50) long-term patients high viral load virological failure ART (n=50). data were analyzed comparison the norm values established earlier for adults different age groups. Multicolour flow cytometry used phenotype peripheral cells To assess molecules all total DNA samples, quantitative multiplex Real-time PCR performed using reagent kit «TREC/KREC-AMP PS» (Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute, St. Petersburg), according manufacturer’s instructions. Results discussion. A reliable direct correlation number CD45+CD3+CD19– T-cells (r=0.77, p<0.0001), CD45+CD3–CD19+ B-cells (r=0.79, p<0.0001) determined. significant decrease antiretroviral therapy shown (AUC=0.99, Se=0.99, Sp=0.99 KREC). Conclusion. Assessment molecule can be detect abnormalities functioning Tand B-cell immunity monitor effectiveness
