Abstract
Chiral
metamaterials
based
on
mirror‐symmetry
broken
resonators
are
engineered
to
achieve
a
strong
interaction
with
circularly
polarized
(CP)
waves.
However,
in
contrast
the
widely‐observed
enhanced
circular
dichroism
(CD),
moderate/narrow‐band
optical
activity
(OA)
responses
usually
seen
chiral
metadevices.
Here,
by
engineering
chirality
parameter
that
determines
effective
refractive
indices
associated
two
CP
eigenstates,
three‐dimensional
(3D)
metamaterial
consisting
of
3D‐printed
ceramic
meta‐atoms
exhibiting
broadband
OA
nondispersive
near‐zero
ellipticity
millimeter‐wave
regime
is
demonstrated.
With
four‐fold
rotational
symmetry
(
C
4
),
3D
dielectric
shows
near‐identical
co‐polarized
transmission
magnitude
but
distinct
phase
retardations
under
left‐handed
(LCP)
and
right‐handed
(RCP)
illumination
over
broad
frequency
range.
Field
analysis
indicates
observed
behavior
originates
from
handedness‐dependent
light‐matter
between
Furthermore,
large
CD
polarization
conversion
2
‐symmetry,
demonstrating
proposed
systems’
versatility
wave
control.
As
revealed
present
study,
coherently
exploring
complex
parametric
space
offered
state‐of‐the‐art
fabrication
techniques
can
become
promising
paradigm
for
sophisticated
functionalities.

Abstract
This
study
reports
the
synthesis
and
characterization
of
novel
thiophene‐based
multilayer
3D
chiral
polymers
incorporating
methoxy
octyloxy
functional
groups.
These
exhibit
unique
fluorescence
properties,
including
a
pronounced
aggregation‐induced
emission
(AIE)
phenomenon
at
lower
excitation
wavelength
than
previously
reported
thiophene
systems.
Additionally,
demonstrate
remarkable
sensitivity
in
detecting
hexavalent
chromium
ions
(Cr
6+
),
significant
environmental
pollutant.
The
interaction
between
Cr
leads
to
measurable
changes
fluorescence,
highlighting
their
potential
for
applications
monitoring
biosensing.

effective

they

selectivity

metal
