Glioma is the most common primary malignant brain tumor with a poor survival rate.It characterized by diffuse and invasive growth heterogeneity, which limits identification complete resection.Therefore, precise detection postoperative adjuvant therapy of gliomas have become increasingly important urgent.Nanotechnology, its excellent biocompatibility controllable chemical properties, has attracted much attention in recent decades.Metal nanoparticles are widely used field biomedical imaging detection, shown promising applications targeted drug delivery therapy.The current review aims to systematically summarize application different types metal treatment glioma.We also discussed advantages mechanisms when for glioma therapy, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy photothermal therapy.We hope promote metallic diagnosis treatment, moving towards clinical translation benefit patients.
