Background Recent media attention has been given to an apparent shift away from hormonal methods of contraception. While increase in fertility awareness-based or ‘natural’ family planning is reported the grey literature, there are no robust data determine any such trend UK. Methods We compared self-reported contraceptive use at conception among patients presenting for abortion British Pregnancy Advisory Service January June 2018 (N=33 495) and 2023 (N=55 055) using chi-square (χ 2 ) tests association. Results Reported contraception around time increased 0.4% 2.5% (p<0.001). In contrast, decreased 18.8% 11.3% (p<0.001) long-acting reversible fell 3% 0.6% Those reporting significantly by 14% when comparing (55.8%) with (69.6%). Conclusions Significantly fewer report effective while also methods. Further research needed understand reasons this change.

Abstract Background The current study examined self‐reported human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination uptake and intentions, associations with psychosocial constructs among United States adults aged 18 to 26 27 45 years. Methods Data were collected via an online survey from participants recruited a research panel. Outcomes HPV intentions. Multivariable binary ordered logistic regression models used examine between outcomes constructs, sociodemographics, previous health behaviors. Results in both age cohorts ( N = 2722) was associated multiple variables, including but not limited to: provider recommendation (adjusted odds ratio [aOR], 11.63 [95% CI, 7.70–17.56] aOR, 14.26 9.52–21.38], for those years, respectively) positive vaccine attitudes (aOR, 2.40 1.70–3.40] 1.46 CI,1.06–2.02]). Among who did report or unsure of prior =1894), only 4.6% 8.1% (aged 18–26 27–45 reported being very likely receive the next year. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic led to reductions in cervical cancer screening and colposcopy. Therefore, this mixed method study we explored perceived pandemic-related practice changes screenings colposcopies. Methods: In 2021, a national sample of 1251 clinicians completed surveys, including 675 who performed colposcopy; subset (n=55) qualitative interviews. Results: Nearly half all reported they were currently performing fewer (47%) colposcopies (44% those perform the procedure) than before pandemic. About one-fifth (18.6%) colposcopists LEEPs prior Binomial regression analyses indicated that older, as well internal medicine family (compared OB-GYNs), practicing community health centers private practice) had higher odds reporting reduced screening. Among colposcopists, physicians Qualitative interviews highlighted care disruptions lack tracking systems identify overdue screenings. Conclusions: Reductions colposcopy among nearly more 1 year into raise concerns inadequate follow-up will lead future increases preventable cancers. Background/Objectives: Vulvar cancer (VC) comprises a small fraction of female neoplasms with notable high-incidence clusters among German regions. Despite proposed impact nationwide lockdowns in response to the COVID-19 pandemic on oncological diseases, effect VC staging and tumor characteristics remains yet be resolved; therefore, analyzing pathological data from patients squamous cell pre-, during, post-COVID region may offer insights into potential epidemiological clinical trends. Methods: We identified total 90 who were diagnosed at Institute Pathology, University Hospital Saarland, between 2018 2023, defined three distinct cohorts: pre-COVID cohort (2018-2019), COVID (2020-2021), (2022-2023). Histomorphological collected individual patient reports statistically analyzed using Fisher's exact test or Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: Although we found no significant differences age, T-stage, perineural infiltration, blood vessel resection status, grading, margin our cohorts, surprisingly, determined greater extent lymphovascular infiltration (Fisher's test; p = 0.041), as well deeper depth (Kruskal-Wallis < 0.001) before pandemic. Furthermore, did not identify any soft indications abnormalities care within center (unchanged status margins across all cohorts). Conclusions: Our results clearly do support negative affection pathobiological during after However, final assessments regarding pandemic's require additional study approaches various regions, preferably future extended timeframes longer follow-up.
