Nursing homes face a high risk of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection; in the early stages pandemic, outbreaks nursing resulted significant deaths among residents. Our medical team intervened one home struggling to cope with COVID-19 pandemic. We analyzed outcomes 65 residents (52 women and 13 men; mean age, 89 years) during first wave infection, as well changes resident staff numbers after pandemic subsided. The mortality rates late transfer groups for three months our intervention were 46.7% 19.2%, respectively. number fell 34 six, respectively, at their lowest point, but recovered 64 33, by August 2023. Since successful containment outbreak, no clusters COVID-19-related illnesses have been observed facility despite nine infection waves occurring across Japan. Improving precautions, designing facilities effective zoning, sharing information government agencies are essential preventing healthcare-associated infections. Abstract Introduction Healthcare-associated infections have a significant impact on public health, and many patients their next-of-kin are seeking information the internet. The study aimed to assess quality of online written content about healthcare-associated available in English, Romanian, Hungarian languages. Materials methods sample included 75 websites, 25 for each language subgroup. assessment involved examining general characteristics, adherence established credibility criteria, completeness accuracy informational content. evaluation was conducted using topic-specific, evidence-based benchmark. Two evaluators independently graded accuracy; scores were recorded scale from 0 10. A comparative analysis websites performed, considering pertinent potential factors influencing subjected testing. statistical significance set at 0.05. Results For overall sample, average credibility, completeness, 5.1 (SD 1.7), 2.4 1.5), 5.9 1.0), respectively. Pairwise comparison tests revealed that English rated significantly higher than Romanian all three measures (P<0.05). Website specialization, ownership, main goal not associated with or ratings.
