Abstract Prelithiated nanoporous carbons were applied as an anode material in lithium-ion capacitors to achieve high-power performance. Nanoporous carbon anodes with different pore structures, graphitization degrees, and prelithiation conditions comparatively investigated for their rate performance, self-discharge property, full-cell prepared under optimized condition exhibited high power energy densities.
