Abstract The root-knot nematode (RKNs) Meloidogyne incognita, are a significant biotic factor that negatively impacted both the yield and quality of vegetables. nematophagous fungus, Purpureocillium lilacinum, is widely regarded as highly effective biocontrol agent (BCA) for RKNs. To investigated nematicidal efficacy P. lilacinum against eggs second-stage juveniles M. incognita at varying application durations, this investigation was carried out invitro settings Department Plant Pathology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. results also revealed effectively reduced survival rates in an time dependent manner. Microscopic examination displayed fungi directly invaded made contact with juveniles, demonstrated its parasitic nature incognita. We found suppressed populations incidence root galls. Notably, significantly stimulated plant growth metrics biomass, even presence infections. Our research findings suggest can be employed beneficial to manage RKNs enhance development
