Abstract Background Placement of a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine device (LNG-IUD) is an effective treatment forpatients diagnosed with adenomyosis who had strong desire to preserve the uterus and no immediate fertility requirements. However, there are also some limitations suitability LNG-IUD for women adenomyosis, as causes distortion or enlargement uterine cavity. Therefore, more prone expulsion in patients adenomyosis. In this study, we aimed show original simplified approach using hysteroscope non-suture fixation Methods retrospectivecase series approved by Ethics Committee Obstetrics Gynecology Hospital Fudan University, sixty-two requirements short term were included study. They underwent hysteroscopic fixation LNG-IUD. All one-year postoperative follow-up evaluate rate, efficacy side effects. Results Sixty-two during long-term follow-up, every patient experienced complete remission their symptoms: significant decrease menstrual flow, relief dysmenorrhea, improvement quality life. Only two at 6 months 10 postoperatively, respectively. Conclusions Hysteroscopic can be minimally invasive alternative history expulsion. The method greatly reduces complexity performed efficiently office.

Among different reported concepts, direction invagination gland cells from basalis endometrium deep into myometrium is most widely accepted opinion on development adenomyosis. Adenomyosis has been increasingly identified young women pain, AUB, or no symptoms by using imaging techniques such as transvaginal ultrasound magnetic resonance. Anogenital distance is a well-validated marker of prenatal testosterone, with shorter distances indicating lower levels during early gestation. This study was conducted provide an overall statistical assessment whether altered women compared controls. systematic review and meta-analysis were on association endometriosis distance. Three databases queried identification phase, random-effects applied data that met inclusion criteria. Meta-analysis showed AF, measured from anus posterior fourchette, significantly associated higher meta-analysis. By contrast, AC, clitoral surface, non-significant. Both analyses demonstrated significant heterogeneity across studies. Too few available robust investigation publication bias.
