Abstract Endometriosis is a gynecologic disorder characterized by endometrial-like tissue in ectopic locations, outside of the uterine cavity. In adolescent population, diagnosis endometriosis often overlooked as cause pelvic pain because limited awareness both patients and providers tendency to undervalue complaints families caregivers. Although historically diagnosed laparoscopy, there has been shift recent years towards imaging diagnosis. Transvaginal ultrasound considered first-line technique for adult population; however, this minimally invasive procedure commonly avoided adolescents, with MRI used instead. Here, we discuss clinical presentation considerations treatment options involved adolescents suspected endometriosis. Graphical abstract
