This study presents the findings from a UK-based survey exploring fertility treatment add-ons, costs, and information transparency. The online survey, distributed via social media, targeted current prospective IVF patients, yielding 304 eligible responses. Results indicate an increase in use of add-ons compared to previous data. Respondents primarily relied on multiple sources for about these with search engines being most frequently used, followed by clinic websites, HFEA website, medical or scientific articles. These were also deemed reliable. In contrast, forums, blogs less used rated as reported significant variation total cost per cycle privately funded treatment, ranging £5,000 £13,000, average £11,950. Although there was slight upward trend costs rising household income, no strong correlation observed.
