ABSTRACT Objective To analyse global prevalence data for infertility due to endometriosis from 1990 2021, emphasising health inequalities. Design Population‐based study. Setting Data the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) database. Population Individuals diagnosed with endometriosis. Methods A statistical method was employed evaluate changes in disease over time. We also analysed how varies by age, time period and birth cohort. model used predict future trends. Additionally, we examined relationship between socio‐demographic index (SDI) levels across countries. Finally, conducted a decomposition analysis identify key factors driving assessed inequality. Main Outcome Measures The burden Results 2021 showed downward trend, low SDI region had notably higher burden. High risk observed 25–29 age group effects analysis. Period risks almost kept decreasing these years, cohort effects, later born individuals an overall lower than earlier individuals. Cross‐country inequality revealed significant disparities, countries categories bearing Conclusions has become public concern recent decades. Governments should adapt prevention strategies fit their specific national contexts.

In recent years, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) has become the main selected option in more than half of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) cycles conducted each year. Selecting most competent cells with highest fertilization potential is crucial to improve clinical outcomes following ICSI procedure. Microfluidic (MF) chips have emerged as a new alternative conventional methods for selecting high‐quality spermatozoa minimal DNA fragmentation. However, due lack consensus about effects MF selection on outcomes, present study, we systematically reviewed and meta‐analyzed impact rate (FR), embryo quality (EQ), euploidy (ER), pregnancy (PR), live birth (LBR) ART procedures. A systematic comprehensive literature search PubMed, Scopus, Web Science databases was determine fertility compared methods. Meta‐analysis using random model used estimate pooled odds ratios (ORs) weighted mean differences (WMDs) various outcome measures. The identified 1714 records, which 21 articles were included review. significantly increased (OR = 1.04; 95% CI: 1.00–1.07; WMD 7.24, 6.93, 7.91) EQ 1.44; 1.30–1.60), while nonsignificantly increasing ER 1.20; 0.92–1.58), PR 1.09; 0.94–1.25), LBR 1.27; 0.99–1.62). Moreover, subgroup analyses revealed that resulted higher FR improved unexplained infertile male factor infertility patients. These results indicate couples history or may benefit from MF–based selection.

Abstract Background One in six people experience infertility, often leading couples to seek Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), which can be emotionally taxing. Anxiety and depression are common among individuals undergoing ART, highlighting the need for integrated mental health support, especially women who face heightened risk of psychiatric disorders during their reproductive years. Despite importance care, there is limited knowledge regarding use medications ART. Methods Following a pre-written protocol (osf.io/egxw8/), we systematically searched electronic databases (Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, CENTRAL, Web Science, PsycInfo, Scopus) up 15.02.2025 identify any study focused on psychopharmacotherapy Two independent reviewers screened titles, abstracts, full texts, performed data extraction, resolved conflicts through discussion or consultation with third reviewer. We synthesized using descriptive analysis within following subgroups: (1) group medication according Neuroscience-based Nomenclature (NbN) classes; (2) indication specific (psychiatric / non-psychiatric). Results included 29 studies published 31 papers. Psychiatric were primarily administered treatment (n=12/29 studies, 41.38%) anxiety (n=8/29, 27.59%). Among all groups serotonin reuptake inhibitors most commonly studied class (n=15/29 51.72%), fluoxetine being frequently used anxiety, GABA Positive Allosteric Modulators midazolam occurred (n=6/29, 20.69%). Medications psychosis single drugs: olanzapine, clozapine, risperidone, quetiapine, aripiprazole, haloperidol, promethazine. that could bipolar disorder were: valproic acid, lithium, lamotrigine. The reported endpoints symptom severity (n=11/29, 37.93%) ART efficacy (n=10/29, 34.48%). Conclusion Evidence concerns women. Available literature indicates involves general practice, tendency toward lower dosing preference inhibitors.
