Over the past half a century many countries have witnessed rapid fall in total fertility rates, particularly world's most advanced economies including industrial powerhouses of Eastern Asia and Europe. Such nations now passed through first second demographic transitions are currently exhibiting rates well below replacement threshold 2.1, with no sign recovery. This paper examines factors responsible for driving these considers their impact on both fecundity (our fundamental capacity to reproduce). I argue that because transition was extremely largely driven by socioeconomic factors, it has had lasting genetic/epigenetic underpinnings human fecundity. However, will be different. A series conditions associated low societies, relaxed selection pressure high-fertility genotypes, indiscriminate use assisted reproductive technologies treat infertility, environmental contamination toxicants, may our genetic constitution ways compromise future species. Since any change foundations reproduction difficult reverse, we should actively pursue methods monitor fecundity, as sub-replacement levels become established across globe.

Infertility affects a significant number of couples worldwide and its incidence is increasing. While assisted reproductive technologies (ART) have revolutionized the treatment landscape infertility, present with an idiopathic cause for their hindering effective management. Profiling genome transcriptome infertile men women has revealed abnormal gene expression. Epigenetic modifications, which comprise dynamic processes that can transduce environmental signals into expression changes, may explain these findings. Indeed, aberrant DNA methylation been widely characterized as sperm oocyte potentially deleterious consequences on fertilization pregnancy outcomes. This review aims to provide concise overview male female infertility through lens alterations.

Abstract The precise mechanisms behind early embryonic arrest due to sperm‐related factors and the most effective strategies are not yet fully understood. Here, we present two cases of male infertility linked novel TDRD6 variants, associated with oligoasthenoteratozoospermia (OAT) arrest. To investigate underlying promising therapeutic approaches, Tdrd6 knock‐in knock‐out mice were generated. variant demonstrated OAT arrest, mirroring clinical observations our patients. Sperm from both affected individuals exhibited aberrant localization phospholipase C zeta oocyte activation deficiency (OAD). application artificial (AOA) effectively overcame caused by facilitating successful pregnancies live births in human mice. Additionally, research revealed that OAD influences expression multitude genes at 2‐pronuclear (2PN) stage, Mos gene playing a pivotal role injection mRNA can mitigate this knowledge, is first study show affects 2PN stage elucidate how AOA overcomes factor‐derived enabling births.

Background: Assisted Reproductive Technology has transformed fertility treatment with new methods such as Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), coming up innovative ways to improve male fertility. The following paper compares the two ICSI techniques, which are mechanical and conventional, on matters of efficiency in terms fertilization. To check for fertilization, an established morphological criterion was used. Methods: This study conducted at a clinic Bocah, Indonesia, utilizes cross-sectional retrospective methodology. analyzes four hundred fifty-eight oocytes from twenty-four patients while focusing days one, three, five fertilization their success. Results: Results reveal that does better than conventional producing high-quality embryos after Mechanical demonstrated higher precision, reduced oocyte trauma, improved rates (68.8% vs. 59.3% Day 1). short span this means success these facilitating carrying long-term pregnancy is not evaluated. It is, however, valuable note found despite ICSI, there qualms about moving towards large-scale application clinics due high costs involved. Conclusions: examined assisted reproduction including 30 individuals (mean age: 33.37 years). yielded markedly superior-quality Days 1, 3, 5. enhanced embryo preservation results, underscoring its potential superior strategy improving quality
