Vaccines are widely recognized as the most economically efficient strategy to combat infectious diseases. Community pharmacists, being highly accessible healthcare professionals, have potential significantly contribute promotion and facilitation of vaccination uptake. In Canada, jurisdiction falls under provincial legislation, leading variations in extent pharmacist practice throughout country. While some pharmacists Canada already functioned immunizers, Québec gained authority prescribe administer vaccines March 2020 amidst COVID-19 pandemic. Our workshop aimed equip with necessary guidance optimize vaccinations, emphasizing importance maintaining expanding immunization services beyond influenza future. During workshop, had opportunity exchange valuable insights best practices regarding workflow optimization, identifying areas for improvement competency, effectively reaching vulnerable population groups, integrating allied team members into their practice. Participants were also asked develop a plan action help implement change workshop.
