This paper explores the progressive era of sleep monitoring, focusing on wearable and remote devices contributing to advances in concept home polysomnography. We begin by exploring basic physiology sleep, establishing a theoretical basis for understanding stages associated changes physiological variables. The review then moves an analysis specific cutting-edge technologies, with emphasis their practical applications, user comfort, accuracy. Attention is also given ability these predict neurological disorders, particularly Alzheimer's Parkinson's disease. highlights integration hardware innovations, targeted parameters, partially advanced algorithms, illustrating how elements converge provide reliable health information. By bridging gap between clinical diagnosis real-world applicability, this aims elucidate role modern monitoring tools improving personalised healthcare proactive disease management.

Medicine of the 21st century has an extensive arsenal means for diagnosing diseases. High-tech equipment is able to detect pathologies without clinical manifestations during latent stage disease development. Actigraphy portable device based on accelerometer, used tracking sleep parameters, and also, well established as a tool circadian rhythms person. not alternative use polysomnography, however, it advantages in ease use, cost, size device, addition allowing long-term continuous recording night daytime over several days or weeks patient's home environment. In its primary function, study characteristics, actigraphy widely method detecting monitoring diseases, including cognitive impairment, psychiatric disorders, cardiovascular pathologies, respiratory this review, we have compiled current information diagnosis. The described results allow us summarize useful characteristics such diagnostic shed light application progressive reliable medicine.
