Self-selection of aerobic training intensity is an approach that allows practitioners to develop autonomy (choice pace), improve physical fitness, and contribute better affective responses adherence. However, it still unclear whether self-selection in group settings comparable individual conditions. The aim the present study was compare effect three protocols on psychophysiological physically inactive adult obese women. sample consisted 90 women with a mean age 48.3 ± 5.5 years BMI 31.2 4.8 kg/m2, who participated treadmill protocols: 1- Control (IPI) individually prescribed (64 76% HRmax), 2- Small (SGS) self-selected intensity, 3- Individual (ISS). Heart rate (HR), total session volume (VL), valence determined by feeling scale (FS), enjoyment Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale (PACES), intention repeat exercise (INT), Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction (BPNFS) were evaluated. Statistical analyses conducted using two-way ANOVA for HR FS, one-way VL, PACES, INT, BPNFS Tukey post hoc test significance criteria (p < 0.05). results showed VL similar > 0.05) between IPI, SGS ISS, while INT significantly higher ISS than IPI also presented These findings suggest among different protocols. Affective more positive perceived We conclude safe, effective, strategy at moderate levels, providing enjoyable experience may greater adherence training.

Background/Objectives: Overcoming an oncological process has a significant impact on lower-extremity sarcoma survivors’ quality of life, due to the deterioration in their physical and functional state. This study evaluated effects six-month multicomponent training program function life mesenchymal chondrosarcoma survivor. Methods: The survivor was subjected internal hemipelvectomy including right hemipelvis plus femoral joint resection proximal femur followed by chemotherapy radiotherapy according oncology protocol. performed twice weekly included resistance, cardiorespiratory, trunk control, stability exercises. Results: Functional assessments revealed improvements hand grip strength, walking speed, balance, coordination. Timed Up Go Test showed 50% reduction completion time, reflecting better mobility strength. Additionally, gait speed increased significantly, balance trials indicated enhanced Quality evaluations progress health, psychological well-being, environmental engagement. Conclusions: Taken together, this research emphasizes importance tailored exercise interventions for survivors, particularly those with impairments. Such programs are vital complements conventional rehabilitation strategies, fostering activity adapted individual needs. By addressing multifaceted challenges survivorship, these enhance capacity, reduce disability, improve overall well-being. Therefore, case highlights program’s effectiveness managing post-treatment sequelae, opening pathway improved autonomy life.

Purpose: Sedentary behavior (SB) contributes to the heightened risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in endometrial cancer survivors (ECS). This feasibility study aimed evaluate key outcomes assess practicality SB reduction interventions for ECS. Secondary aims included domain assessment and preliminary efficacy testing relationship between arterial stiffness. Methods: Forty stage-1 ECS (BMI ≥ 25.0 kg/m², aged 50-80, <12 months post-treatment) participated study, which measured total domain-specific using accelerometry ecological momentary (EMA). Aortic pulse wave velocity (PWV) was estimated via Mobil-O-Graph, linear regression models examined association PWV. Results: The achieved 4 5 assessed outcomes, with a 63% consent rate 10 months. Retention high, 90% participants completing all aspects. Fidelity strong, though EMA compliance 69%, slightly below 70% target. Self-reported 71.4% lower than accelerometer-measured [MD: −5.00 hours/day (95% CI: −6.57 −3.43), P < .001]. exhibited PWV 9.04 ± 1.80 m/s, 13.4% higher normative values, occupational significantly associated Conclusions: highlights high levels ECS, indicating need interventions, particularly SB. retention rates suggest are willing engage change, pointing future research focusing on strategies reduce improve health.

Background Breast cancer, the most prevalent tumor in women globally, significantly impacts young women, compromising their daily lives and overall well-being. cancer represents a significant public health concern due to its extensive physical psychological consequences. Material methods Data from Global Burden of Disease (GBD) were used assess global, regional, national burden breast aged 20–39 1990 2021. This analysis focused on trends measured by estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) explored socioeconomic via sociodemographic index (SDI). Results During 1990–2021, incidence prevalence among increased with rates 0.82 0.87%, respectively. The mortality rate disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) also rose annually −0.12% −0.05, A shift was observed towards regions lower SDI, diet high red meat, alcohol use, fasting plasma glucose identified as prominent risk factors, particularly SDI regions. Conclusion Our findings underscore an escalating global challenge, increasingly shifting areas. underscores necessity for targeted prevention control strategies focusing reducing factors ensuring equitable resource distribution.
