Hereditary heart disease (HHD) is a series of cardiac disorders associated with monogenic or polygenic abnormalities and one the leading causes sudden death, particularly in young adults. The updated European Cardiology guideline for cardiomyopathies provides first comprehensive summary genotyping, imaging, therapy recommendations inherited cardiomyopathies, but still lacks discussion research advances future trends genetic diagnosis HHD. Our aims to fill this gap. Bibliometric analysis software (CiteSpace 6.3.R1, VOSviewer 1.6.18, Scimago Graphica) was used analyze general information, trends, emerging foci HHD past 20 years, including author, country, institution, keyword, so on. There were 5,757 publications screened aggregated database, 1876 reviews 3,881 articles. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), arrhythmogenic (ACM), Brugada syndrome (BrS), myocardial amyloidosis, Fabry (FD) main types that explored greater depth. Moreover, new diagnostic methods, clinical cohorts, genetically targeted therapies patients are key hotspots. relationship between pathogenicity genes prognosis will become increasingly important therapy.
