This pilot study explores the utilization of Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) as a tool for enhancing collaboration between public health and safety sectors to address overdose epidemic in United States. Through qualitative interviews with ODMAP users, key themes emerged, including role data sharing facilitating collaboration, challenges posed by divergent privacy standards, need clearer guidance on cross-sector sharing. Findings highlight ODMAP's potential integrate targeted interventions at individual population levels. Future research directions include overcoming barriers, strategically utilizing across sectors, rigorously evaluating impact partnerships morbidity mortality. Overall, this underscores importance fostering coordinated responses crisis provides valuable insights improving surveillance intervention efforts.
