Background/Objectives: Early predictive assessments for CP are recommended infants with medical risk factors after birth. For parents of children CP, receiving an early diagnosis is important. But most who have not yet developed labeled “high-risk infants” and repeatedly assessed abnormal signs. We aim to investigate the experience high-risk describe meaning that “early CP” has them before they know whether their CP. Methods: This was a qualitative study conducted using phenomenological, reflective lifeworld approach. Fourteen individual in-depth interviews were received different GMA results learn about experiences involving assessments. The analyzed meaning. Results: take place over time while process traumatic becoming infant at risk. “Early assessment” perceived as any examination or assessment intended unveil signs illness disability. child’s future well-being fulfillment, demands parenthood, stake. Essential structures (1) on spectrum from death insignificancies, (2) living uncertainty what parental role will entail, (3) seeing one’s own child through eyes strangers, just in case. Conclusions: months following birth child, worrying, affecting parent–infant relationship. Predictive reduce sense alarm when result indicates low uncertain, burden amplified prolonged.
