Previous studies have shown that subjective judgment architectures is influenced by structure features, and Western observers prefer structures curvilinear contours, high ceilings, open space. The building styles, however, vary across cultures, it remains unclear whether preference for ceiling height, openness exist cultures. To investigate this issue, study analyzes Chinese observers, results demonstrate also ceilings Preference interacts with height openness. Simple effect analysis reveals contours only low space closed. In sum, these suggest robust but less reliable.
