During the socialization process in family and school contexts, children display a wide variety of social behaviors with parents peers. Yet developmental trajectory, predictors outcomes, neural basis those are largely under-investigated. To address these problems, we invited experts field to submit their latest findings tell this story. The current Special Issue is collection papers highlighting complexity for various behaviors, focus on complex mechanisms that link child socio-emotional adjustment mediating/moderating factors among associations. Thirteen illustrate empirical work field, two present new methodological concerns, one paper provides comprehensive review literature.
