Dust storms, which are common aversive occurrences in northern China, result from high winds, dry soil or dust, and surface disturbance. Exposure to dust regardless of duration, can induce varying mental physical distress levels. Recognizing the urgency comprehending impact storms on residents scarcity information their effects indigenous civilians there, this study aims address gap by qualitatively sampling 29 participants Beijing, a typical city China. The current seeks gain insights into residents' storm experiences explore perspectives effective coping mechanisms. findings align with existing knowledge regarding repercussions while identifying some emerging patterns mechanisms already employed Beijing.
