Compressed ultrafast photography (CUP) is the fastest passive two-dimensional (2D) imaging technology at present, but implementation thereof based on time-domain compressed technology, which requires a streak camera to have large-size circular photocathode, while cannot be applied narrow cathode cameras with faster temporal resolution. To overcome bottleneck problem, spatial-domain (SCUP) was proposed in present study, allows CUP realize 2D photocathode camera. Moreover, novel three-channel spatial scheme ensure effective reconstruction of SCUP.
