Purpose Given the concept of loafing at work and its IT equivalent, cyberloafing, we propose BallotLoafing to metaphorically describe a similar phenomenon occurring during political elections. describes how employees’ attention can become absorbed by discussions, debates or following news related an election, shifting focus away from tasks. This study aims investigate effects attitude, subjective norm perceived behavioral control on intention engage in behaviors through lens theory planned behavior. Additionally, research explores moderating role belief relationship between these variables.
