Purpose The objective of this study was to investigate the link between ethical leadership and followers’ job crafting. Based on social learning theory demands-resources model, we expected that role-breadth self-efficacy work engagement would serially mediate association style Design/methodology/approach A quantitative analysis conducted among a sample 458 subordinates assessed their direct supervisor reported own self-efficacy, crafting behaviours. Findings Ethical positively associated with increasing structural resources, resources challenging demands. mediation hypothesis supported for demands but not resources. Results unexpectedly suggested indirect positive effect suppresses negative total becoming positive. Purpose Using conservation of resources (COR) theory, this study examines the association between leader knowledge-sharing behavior (LKSB) and employee innovative work (IWB) with mediating role efficiency moderating learning goal orientation.
