Plant-based meat (PBM) presents itself as a sustainable alternative to production systems that have adversely impacted consumers' health and the environment at large. In Philippine context, however, there are only few PBM manufacturers date even though has been emerging with expanded options for consumers consider. Moreover, while PBM's potential allows it be prospective working food system in country through promotion of healthier chains, literature on Philippines is scant. This study thus contributes this by exploring predictors purchase intention toward PBM. The researchers surveyed 215 respondents determined if their Perceived Healthiness PBM, Self-perceived Taste Environmental Concern, Product Knowledge Meat Attachment predicted Purchase Intention results revealed Healthiness, Taste, Knowledge, significantly influence Intention. then provides recommendations government private sector promote consumption realize environmental benefits from doing so.
