Abstract Purpose This study aims to map past and current research on hotel service quality, taking into account recent technological developments. It describes the evolution of subjects, identifies key bibliographic indicators, explores methodological approaches used in research. Design/Methodology/Approach uses bibliometric analysis examine articles from Scopus Web Science (a dataset 1361 articles). The integration of sustainable practices in tourism is increasingly critical, given the sector’s substantial environmental and social impacts.
